Join us!

Anyone can join our team, all disciplines and majors are welcome. Our lab space is located in the Supplemental Mail Room north of campus on Big Hollow Road and we have regular meetings in Hammond Building on campus. You can join by following these steps:

1. Join our Slack
2. Come to an all hands meeting, the next one will be announced in our Slack.
3. Subsystem meetings are listed below, but check the Slack for weekly schedule updates!

Subsystems

Recovery:

Ensures that the rocket is safely recovered by designing a redundant and reliable recovery system.

Meetings are held Wednesdays at 4:30pm in our lab.

Payload:

Designs, builds, and tests at least one unique payload that will be incorporated into the rocket and scored as part of the competition.

Meetings are held on Mondays after the weekly meeting and Wednesdays at 6:00pm in our lab.

Propulsion:

Chooses the motors to be used in the rockets, thoroughly tests them, and simulate the rocket to ensure the flight goes as expected.

Meetings are held Tuesdays at 7:30pm in our lab.

Structures:

Responsible for designing the bulk of the rocket frame and working with the other subsystems to integrate their components into the design.

Meetings are held Tuesdays at 7:30pm in our lab.
